I need to burn as high-a-quality-as-possible version of my feature film onto a double-layered DVD.
In the past, I used COMPRESSOR to make an MPEG-2 file, but there was always some 'quicktime error' or other at the end of the process (ie 8 hrs later!)
Then someone on this forum pointed out that it's better to export an uncompressed quicktime version of the movie into DVD Studio Pro, and then let the latter program do the conversion, rather than compression. This worked really well.
Trouble is, I can't remember the correct settings in Final Cut Pro:
Do I export it as DV-Pal; Uncompressed 8-bit; or Uncompressed 10-bit? I'm aware that I need to de-select the 'make movie self-contained' tab.
Can anyone help?
