Wytron Duplicator upgrade

I have a Wytron duplicator with a 160GB HD set for DVD 5 sized files. The HD has only room for another 4 projects and I was wondering if something like a 300GB HD could be interchanged with the existing one and the existing files preloaded onto it. If it can what kind of problems could I incur.

I cannot delete the existing files to free up some room as these are required for a customer.
