I need to create some banana-style lettering for a logo/funny message. Has anyone by any chance got a font like this? It's a long shot I know!!
I can create some words from clip-art shapes but I thought I'd ask anyway, it might save me some time.
Cheers
Paul
Cheers David. That's one strange site BTW! I couldn't make out if it was actually available as a font, or just an experiment
Quite ap-peeling though...
Is Chirpy chirping?
It must be the fruit thing Tony
Just between me and you, I'll try another "fruity" thread and see what happens...
It can't be Chirpy, look at the profile. Unless he's got a day job (no more window-cleaning).
Alan, check out quickbuild.info from David's profile, then chirpy.net (from Chirpy's profile).
The temptation to reply to a "banana font" thread is just too great...!
Anyway, hi Chirpy if you're there. If not, thanks again David, I've bookmarked the FontCsar site for future reference
Ooh, that's sneaky
We could always try the direct approach....
"Hi, David Finch. Are you the person formerly known as Chirpy?"
Bit formal, I know, but it might just work.
There is only ONE David Finch - and that person is Chirpy (Though not the only Chirpy - there are some lesser varieties)
If you followed the earlier "Chatter" threads about the Dovercourt Kingdom Hall - you will KNOW.
He is probably afraid the board will collapse if you go over 5000 postings and has started again
John
"Banana style font required" - sounds Wacky to me.........
Actually John, that's not quite accurate - There was another David Finch at my school. He lived in Finchingfield Road...but he wasn't nicknamed Chirpy.quote:Previously posted by John Willett:

Cheers,
Chirpy (just in case anyone hadn't realised we're one and the same)
