Blu ray jerky

I'm finding that when I burn a Blu ray it plays back a little jerky eg rolling titles are not smooth, the whole thing looks a bit deinterlaced, I changed the settings in Power DVD9 and Total Media and it makes no difference if deinterlace is on or off.
I wondered if it's because it's a LG usb external drive and the usb can't keep up?
Blu ray files on the computer play back ok, I left the default bitrate settings in Edius when I created the file.
I also get an error 83450408 at the end of a burn using Edius disc burner but the content seems to be ok.
Anyone help with these please?

First thing to do is play the BD on a-n-other BD player. If the problem goes away then try another to be doubly sure. If the problem exixsts then it's back to your NLE and BD output.

I've bought a Panasonic player and it plays ok on that, so it's to do with the PC then, maybe the USB2 I even tried it via HDMI from the PC and it was still a problem.
