I have been given a bluray disc burnt on a panasonic DMR-BS850EB.
I cannot read any of the M2TS files on the disc nor play the disk on any other player.

I suspect it is encrypted or encoded somehow.

How can I convert the media into a format I can play/edit

Thank you

Has the disc been finalised ?

Did the person who gave you the disc either check in their machine , or read the manual ?

Yes it is finalised, There appear to be 5 files on it, Two I can see, three I cannot.
I have read the manual and beleive these are CPRM encoded.
Can I get past this.

So it is a Copyright protected file structure , because they recorded a PPV or similar event , which has a one time copy ability ?

And you want to break that copyright protection ?
