Canon Pixma MG6350 Printer installation on Windows 7 Laptop computer.
Window for CD-Label Print missing so pictures cannot be composed.
No CD-Label Print listed in start Menu. .
Cannot find mention of window CD-Label Print in Canon manual but know it does exist.
Result: Cannot compose own pictures for printing on blank discs.
Vague memory it must be downloaded from Canon. .
Can anyone please enlighten me of details and procedure required.
HI Les, is this any use to you? http://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/videos/pixma_mg6350
scroll down to trouble shooting section.
Thank you Tony, I did that but the screen I want is not there.
If I can find the DVDoc postings (Mark M) about a year or so ago the answer is there.
The screen I am looking for is basically white. It shows a blank disc.
There are drop-down menus for Text, Image etc,
A self composed picture can be printed on a disc either from computer or printer small screen.
Thank you Richard. It's getting very close but not exactly what I am looking for.
I have downloaded and note this became available on 22 July last, so is very new.
This new program is unable to recognise images, used for past made discs
that I have on pen-drive..
Les if you do a search this site for les winn printers I think that this is the thead you were referring to.
It would seem that the CD-Label Print software has been replaced by this:
Thank you both for trying. These later versions are fine but will not accept what has been saved from the last year or so.
Searching my past DvDoc postings I see Johnpr gave me the required string to obtain the program.
It appears Canon have now deleted it from their downloads. Version wanted is 1.4.1.0.
Is there a method that would enable a download from the desktop computer that does have the wanted program?
I doubt you will be able to do a download from another PC, as just about every windows program in the world has about 300 different components scattered around the PC (alright I know that's a slight exaggeration, but only just).
I reckon your best bet would be if you can find a copy of the printer installation disc or the zip download from someone. It shouldn't need to be for that exact model, as the program should be common to most of them.
Be aware, there are many different third party websites from which you could download it from, but you run the risk of also downloading malware or worse with it, as it is very difficult to tell which are trustworthy.
Les
Is this what you are after?

It's version1.4.2, but I've not had any problems loading CD layouts created in earlier versions.
