Does anyone know the difference between Pinnacles original DC10 board and the DC10+ board. Is it just the software ?
I saw an add for a DC10 (secondhand) that had Adobe Premier with it and wondered if the DC10 can be used with non-pinnacle editing software (I believe that the DC10+ can only be used with the supplied software?)

Cheers

I thought the difference was just software but I may be wrong! You could always get the definative answer on Pinnacles Web Board, www.pinnaclesys.com

I also have an old DC10.

The hardware and software are different. When the new DC10+ came out, I took a chance and phoned Pinnacle to enquire about an upgade.

Depending on who you talk to in Sales, they will be providing an upgrade (although they can't confirm whether this will be just software or hardware & software).

Sorry can't help regarding whether the card can only be used with their software.
Cheers

I'm writing from home, but I think we received in the office from Pinnacle a press release saying they were, until the end of JUNE, offering to upgrade any Pinnacle capture card to a DC30+ or a DV300 - for £449 (maybe £499) inc VAT.
