Can this be explained?
Take a typical AVCHD file ( from the stream folder).
00006.MTS. Date modified 17.01.11. 07.35. Size 14,0176 KB.
If I right click on this file, Properties tells me (Under general & details) that date created is
13/11/2011 and date modified is 17/01/2011.
In other words, my file properties is incorrect, and 'created' and 'modofied' are transposed.
Also, ( as a side effect?) Date accessed is incorrect.
Surely dates accessed should be today if I accessed (played) the file today.
This is due to the way Windows Explorer works, if you copy a file to a different folder the date created and date accessed will change to the time you made the copy so it can look as if the file was modified even before it was created. It harks back to DOS and how Windows messed it up when trying to emulate copy and Xcopy.
I use Directory Opus 10 for my file manager, hate the Win 7 file explorer, dumbed down mess, Opus doesn't do this silly business.
Thank you for the explanation Claire
