I uninstalled AV Master and U-Lead M-studio.
I re-installed the AV master then M-Studio. When I clicked on the Fast icon nothing happened so I re- booted. Same again so I tried to to open M-studio and it said that AV wasnt installed so I uninstalled the lot and started again. It now says there is already a copy of AV Master installed, uninstall it and try again. Am I doing something wrong or is it something obvious.

I assume you have uninstalled the AV Master via "System" in "Control Panel". This only removes it up to a point. You need to run "regedit" then delete references to AV Master - you will find several under HKEY - Current User, Local Machione & User. Then when you reboot, Windows should identify "New Hardware" - then poceed to re-install.

I thought I would post a reply to this old topic because others might have this problem.

First of all......although it might make the re-install "cleaner" i have never found it necessary to remove debris from the registry.

What I CAN see from the original poster is that he done the sequence of things WRONG

There is a specific sequence for loading software with this card and it is as follows.

1. Load MSP 6 FIRST!!!!!!!!!!
2. Then load the MSP6 patch.
3. NOW and only NOW load the av master drivers.

It wont work any other way if if you DO get it to work any other way then its only a matter of time before you become a cropper!
