I know microsoft have stopped all updates, but I urgently need XP SP3 for a few projects - Has anyone got this . . . . please?
There still seems to be multiple options to download XP SP3 from Microsoft

Hi - I've trawled through dozens of SP3 update sites and the majority are blind links, or, as in one case which looked totally genuine, has added some hard to get rid of ad grabbers/PC speed ups.

I just tried the MS link and I was downloading a XP SP3 300mb+ update which I cancelled, it looked legit to me, I can't test it any further with my Windoze 7 system

Don`t know on that one! Maybe someone with more knowledge could help? Although on the disc I have it say`s "Also includes SP3" but whether there are different SP3`s for the various versions of XP I wouldn`t know!
This is the file name for the SP3 upgrade that I use (this computer is running on XP with SP3)

The file size is 324,030KB
If you can use that to identify a 'true' SP3 file out there on the web then that'll be the quickest way.
If not, then we'll move to the 'you send me your address, I'll send you a CD' routine.

I`ve just had a look on my disc & I can see a Zip File called SP3 & it`s 19.587mb I could send it to you?

Thanks for everyone's help - Unfortunately, The laptop on which it was needed, (used for mobile edits) went online, (I never, ever put edit PCs online for the obvious reasons) on what looked an official microsoft site and picked up a few bugs on the way - now at our local repair shop to get rid of the irritants and insatl SP3 wile it's there.
