hI Iam looking for advice please .
I record footage on my philips 890 dvd recorder it plays fine on that, but if i put disc into my yelo dvd player it plays fine , but u can not wind it forward more than 2x speed, if u try to wind it forward at 4x or 8x u end up having to go back to the begining of the disc,
I take it that the decoder in the yelo dvd player can not keep up with the data on disc
is this correct,
Is their an upgrade firmware for the yelo dvd player or am i stuck with this problem.
how is it i dont get problems with commercial discs. and the all play fine on the philips 890, any advice appreciated thanks Tom
I find that this is the problem with many DVD players trying to play home made DVDs. Not just the Yelo but several other DVD players. One would play the DVDs fine but would not reverse at all. Some DVD players will play my home made (on the E20) all the way through, one other make would not play my DVD beyond the fourth video on a DVD which contained 7 videos.
